Mythgard
I worked on an overhaul of Mythgard’s cycling sequence, health bar, and authentication menus. Some of these elements made it into the game, some didn’t.
Card cycling hover and drop sequence with new deck vfx:
I employed the use of Unity’s Force Fields to make an effect that appears to pull your card into the cyclone effect on the deck.
Updated authentication menu with rigged 2d characters using unity’s 2d animation tools:
For one of the card powers, Fathomless Kraken, I modeled a tentacle and textured it with substance painter. I then animated in Maya and implemented it in Unity with some water splash vfx. This never made it into the game.
